James Jeggo has been offered a new deal by his club Sturm Graz but is keeping his options open as his contract winds down.
The 25-year-old has stressed that he is happy at Die Schwoazn, and is no rush to leave, but also wants to see what unfolds in the near future.
In October Jeggo was reportedly a target for English clubs Leeds United, Hull City and Middlesbrough, according to The Daily Mail.
“I enjoy living here and it’s not that I’m looking to move away from the club at all – but being in that position where it would be theoretically a decent time to make another step up,” the former Adelaide United and Melbourne Victory man said.
“That’s something if that opportunity comes, and I think it is a good opportunity for me, then it’s something I would definitely grasp.
“It’s a little bit up in the air but as I’ve always said the most important thing is you’re playing well, week-in-week-out and that you’re improving and the rest takes care of itself.”
