A well-rested Jeonbuk Motors side will look to seal a place in the knockout stages of the Asian Champions League by beating Changchun Yatai at Jeonju World Cup Stadium tomorrow.
Domestic champions Jeonbuk, who were not in K-League action at the weekend, can guarantee their place in the last 16 from Group F by following up last week's 2-1 win in Changchun with another three points against the Chinese team.
"We rested but, for the opposition, playing at the weekend and then coming here could be a problem for them," coach Choi Kang-hee said of Changchun, who were held to a goalless draw at home to Liaoning in their opening Chinese Super League game on Saturday.
"Our spirit is very good at the moment and we are in a good condition and looking forward to the game in front of our own fans."
China defender Feng Xiaoting is in contention to feature after resting his ankle injury over the weekend.
Changchun manager Shen Xiangfu, meanwhile, is looking for a much-improved display to remain in contention.
"As we lost the last game, this game is crucial and we will do our best," he said.
"We were lacking in concentration in the last game. We played well until there were 20 minutes remaining but after they equalised, it affected us psychologically."
Should J. League champions Kashima Antlers beat whipping boys Persipura Jayapura, who have conceded 18 goals in three defeats, they would also wrap up qualification with two games to spare.
"We need one more win to ensure our spot in last 16. We will use all our best players to earn three points," said Antlers coach Oswaldo Oliveira ahead of the clash in Jakarta.
"All of our players are in good shape. We have experience of playing in Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam, so it will not cause us trouble playing in Jakarta."
Persipura lost 5-0 in Kashima last week following a 9-0 reverse against Changchun.
Coach Jacksen Tiago is keen for the Indonesians not to end the campaign empty-handed, but he is aware of the task they face at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
"Quite frankly, it's a very hard task to beat Kashima," said Tiago.
"They are very strong but we hope we can gain our first point because we have not won. We will try our best because we're carrying the Indonesian flag in this competition."
