Junya Tanaka and Jorge Wagner both scored one and set up another as Kashiwa Reysol won 4-0 at Vissel Kobe to move level on points with J.League leaders Gamba Osaka.
Kashiwa took the lead after just four minutes when forward Masato Kudo latched onto Tanaka's header, cut into the box and fired home from the right side for the opener.
The hosts attempted to rally but Kashiwa extended their lead in the 58th minute when Wagner blasted home from mid-range.
Tanaka converted Hidekazu Otani's pass to make it 3-0 in the 74th minute before Park Dong-hyuk headed home a Wagner pass three minutes later.
Meanwhile, Ventforet Kofu boosted their survival hopes with a 2-1 triumph over bottom side Avispa Fukuoka.
Kofu forward Mike Havenaar put the hosts ahead after four minutes in slotting home from outside the box before earning a penalty that Brazilian midfielder Paulinho converted in the 28th minute.

Hiroshima forward Tadanari Lee scored twice while strike partner Hisato Sato converted a penalty in Sanfrecce Hiroshima's 3-1 win over visiting Jubilo Iwata.
Lee opened the scoring in the third minute before Sato scored from the spot in the 20th minute for the hosts. Jubilo and Japan forward Ryoichi Maeda pulled a goal back five minutes later but Lee grabbed his second and Sanfrecce's third in the 57th minute.
