It has been revealed that in light of recent speculation that Newcastle jets star youngster Jobe Wheelhouse, could be headed off to English Championship club, Stoke City, the jets have put forward a new 5 year contract extension to his already lengthy deal. The rumors began after Stokes Chief scout was out here in November casting an eye over the local talent, with Wheelhouse impressing immensely. Late this afternoon (18/12/07) Wheelhouse was reported to be seriously considering the English clubs deal, with Newcastle coach desperate to keep the influential midfielder. Will be interesting to see what is the final outcome.
