Tottenham's Martin Jol is satisfied with the UEFA Cup group draw, with Spurs taking on Anderlecht, Getafe, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Aalborg.
Tottenham will play Getafe and Aalborg at White Hart Lane but will travel to Israel and Belgium to complete their fixtures.
The draw could have been a lot worse for Tottenham and, after assessing the opposition, Jol was clearly happy with the outcome.
Jol declared: "I am pretty satisfied. You can only assess it on paper at the moment and my feeling is that it could have been a lot tougher for us.
"Anderlecht away will be a hard one, but it is in the final game for us and hopefully we will have done the business by then.
"They have got fanatical supporters, just like we've got, so that should be a special night with the history between the two clubs in this competition.
"It is good that we start at home against Getafe before we face a trip to Tel Aviv. People tend to under-estimate the football in Israel, but they have got players there from all over the world so that could well be a tricky game and there is always a great atmosphere.
"Aalborg will not be easy, they came through a tie against Sampdoria and I am pleased we have got them at home," continued Jol, who added that inserting four European games into the pre-Christmas fixture list created a special dimension to the season.
"Everybody enjoyed themselves last season, we wanted the European nights back and we had some great games at home and away at the likes of Besiktas and Leverkusen. We are looking forward to more of the same."
Director of Football, Damien Comolli believes the competition can act as a spur for Tottenham to turn their season around and claims that after their fightback from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 against Aston Villa, the confidence has returned to the squad.
Spurs are unbeaten in six games and Comolli claims there are encouraging signs after their poor start to the campaign in the league.
Comolli said: "It is what happened to us last year. We had a difficult start but wins in the Carling Cup and in Europe boosted everyone's confidence.
"We have done well in the Carling Cup this season and we are in the group stages of the UEFA Cup, which is what we wanted. We have to build up on that.
"There is no reason to worry. The quality is there and we create chances and everyone is confident we will turn the corner.
"We were unlucky against Liverpool on Sunday but coming back in the second half against Villa boosted the players' confidence.
"I think the Villa game could be a turning point and players know they can build on that which they did at Liverpool. I think it is a new start."
Spurs have announced they have submitted a new application for a training centre in Enfield.
The club's first application to use Bulls Cross for a training centre was recommended for approval by Enfield's planning officers in September 2006 but the borough's planning committee rejected the application.
