ADELAIDE United are the latest A-League side to confirm their kit sponsor deal with Kappa next season, joining Melbourne Heart and an anticipated deal with Central Coast Mariners.
The Reds are linking up with the global brand on a two year deal and today hailed it as "a significant coup for the club" in the lead up to the season eight.
Adelaide United CEO Glenn Elliott is confident the partnership will be a success after parting ways with last season's supplier, errea, and the temporary Asian Champions League tie up with Legia.
“We are delighted to advise that Kappa have agreed to be the club’s official apparel supplier,” Elliott said. “We welcome Kappa on board and are sure all of our supporters will do likewise.
"The designs they have come to us with look fantastic and we can advise that the new playing strip and product range will reflect that we are the Reds and that we are South Australian.
“We are confident and hopeful that it will be a successful and ongoing relationship.”
Kappa Australia said they were thrilled to be hooking up with the Reds next season.
“Kappa Australia is thrilled to be partnering with Adelaide United FC as the major apparel supporter,” the firm said in a statement.
“We are proud to be announced as the apparel sponsor of Adelaide United and look forward to an exciting and successful year ahead with the team in the Hyundai A-League 2012/13 Season and beyond.”
The new kit is due to be available in late August prior to the Reds’ AFC Champions League Quarter Final and the start of the new A-League season.
