SLOVENIA coach Matjaz Kek stuck to the core of players which qualified the nation for South Africa when he named his provisional 30-man World Cup squad.
There had been speculation Newcastle youngster Haris Vuckic and former captain Klemen Lavric might earn call-ups but neither made the cut.
Kek said: "The wider the list is a starting point for the final selection, which, under the rules of FIFA will be known in early June.
"We are now putting the players though individual tests, medical examinations and individual exercises."
Slovenia have been drawn in Group C alongside England, the United States and Algeria.
