MELBOURNE Victory have announced Welsh winger Geoff Kellaway has left the club and will return to the United Kingdom after his contract expired on March 31.
Kellaway, who joined Victory as an injury replacement player in August last year, only made nine appearances for the club.
The 24-year-old had signed with Victory after being named in the Welsh Premier League Team of the Season in 2009/2010, before a stint at VPL club Dandenong Thunder.
England-born Kellaway was not named in Victory's 25-man 2011 AFC Champions League squad.
One of Kellaway's few appearances for Victory included the 3-0 win over Brisbane Roar in September - a result that proved to be the Queensland side’s only defeat during a campaign that took them to the double.
