Kemp will have an arthroscopy on his right knee this afternoon after he felt pain in the joint over the past few weeks.

And after consultation with the club's medical staff, it was agreed a minor operation was the best course of action, the club said today.

Leftback Kemp only returned to action in December after undergoing a full reconstruction of the same knee in February 2010.

He made eight appearances for the club at the end of this season and was in the starting XI for the clubs most recent games against Gamba Osaka and Jeju United.

The club hope Kemp will be back training in two to three weeks.
