SOCCEROO Harry Kewell has been named in the Liverpool squad for their Carling Cup tie against Cardiff.
Kewell made his return to playing last week after months on the sidelines with thigh and groin injuries.
He played the first half of a reserves match and scored on his return to fitness.
Now he has been rewarded with a place in the squad for tomorrow night.
He joins Peter Crouch who seems set to start only his sixth game of the season in the fourth round tie.
The big striker impressed as a second-half substitute in Sunday's draw with Arsenal.
Boss Rafael Benitez is also likely to use second choice goalkeeper Charles Itandje, Lucas, Sebastian Leto and Fabio Aurelio. Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano, Jermaine Pennant and Xabi Alonso are all injured.
Provisional squad: Itandje, Finnan, Carragher, Arbeloa, Aurelio, Kewell, Lucas, Sissoko, Benayoun, Babel, Leto, Crouch, Voronin, Kuyt, Gerrard, Riise, Hobbs, Martin.
