Kewell rose to head home his side's opener six minutes before the interval and put in a 68 minute shift before being replaced in the win over Istanbul Buyuksehi.

Harry was replaced midway through the second half by Aydin Yilmaz. His goal was still the only thing separating the two teams at that stage but the points were secured seven minutes from time when Cassio Lincoln made it 2-0 for the home side.

Victory leaves Galatasaray in fifth spot in the Turkish Super Lig, some six points behind the leaders.
