Kisnorbo has proved a big hit since joining Leeds at the start of the season and the Yorkshire Evening Post picked him out for special praise after the 1-0 win.

In his review of the action, the Post's football writer said of Kisnorbo: "Every week his performances seem to improve, and he is unlikely to better the exceptional display he produced yesterday. Absolutely awesome, in every way."

As for Kilkenny, the writer suggested the midfielder was suited to such a stage and praised his cool approach in such a cauldron.

Kisnorbo will be hoping their display caught the eye of Pim Verbeek as he looks to force his way into the World Cup picture.
