EXCLUSIVE: If there'd be a vote for A-League player of the year right now, Central Coast boss Lawrie McKinna says there is only be one player in his opinion.
"Shane Smeltz started well and has done well in the last few weeks," McKinna told au.fourfourtwo.com. "And Stevie Corica is always a handful and at his age he's still a handful.
"I think Charlie Miller would be up there with his contribution to goals but he drifts in and out of games even if some of his goals have been outstanding.
"And Nikita [Rukyvystya] was quiet at the beginning of the year but he's been flying in the last few weeks.
"But I'd say the most consistent, steady, week-in-week-out player in the A-League is Craig Moore.
"Not because of what he's went through but that's one thing added to that. But I think they've got the best defensive record in the league and I a lot comes down to him.
"It's because he's a leader and so strong. And he's been consistent all year."
Moore is also currently leading the Alex Tobin Medal for Fox Sports' Player of the Year.
