The FFA have released the players involved in matches on Friday, including Ben Kantarovski of Newcastle who played in the Jets' clash on Wednesday night, with the Young Socceroos set to depart for China on Saturday from Sydney.

The tournament kicks off October 3 and Leckie was expected to miss three matches, including the clash against the Glory, but now it appears likely the young speedster will only be ruled out for the Reds' games against Sydney FC on October 4 and Gold Coast on October 17.

United are also without Daniel Mullen who is touring Vietnam with the Olyroos while Cassio misses the match through suspension after picking up two yellow cards last week against Brisbane Roar.

Reds boss Rini Coolen admitted he was delighted with the news his leading goal scorer would take the field.

"I am real happy. You want to play with your whole team that you played with the last couple of weeks and Leckie was in it," he said.

"He has been an important player for us. At the start of the week we couldn't play with him but something changed in the last couple of days.

"We're really looking forward to having him here today so he can play tomorrow."

"We worked it out a couple of days ago but then we heard the news that he was available two days ago so we didn't have to change much in the last training session."

Coolen denied Leckie would be distracted ahead of his pending national team duties and praised the FFA for releasing the speedster for the clash against Perth.

The Dutchman had initially put a line through the 19-year-old for at least three matches but is confident Leckie will now miss only two games with a FIFA international break scheduled for the second weekend in October.

Coolen also wished the Young Socceroos success in the competition even if it means the longer the squad are in the tournament, the longer Leckie is away from Adelaide United.

"I think he's real focussed," he said. "I think it was already in his mind that maybe he could be available for this training.

"He was real fresh and fit and is really looking forward to playing the game tomorrow. He's ready and he's focussed.

"I think the decision was more from the FFA. I think they work really well together with the clubs.

"If you work together with the teams you can make the league better have the players play if it is possible.

"It's real good cooperation this way. We're lucky our game is on Friday and we have Leckie in our team now.

"I was thinking that he couldn't play for maybe at least three games.

"What I'm going to hope is that they're going to win a few games so he can stay a little bit longer because it is also important for the national team to play as good as possible.

"It's not good for us but I really hope that they win their games but that means we've lost Leckie for three games.

"He's there tomorrow so probably it's now only two games."

Coolen denied the clash against Perth is a danger game, despite the Glory suffering back-to-back defeats.

The Reds boss acknowledged United must continue its undefeated start to the season and claim maximum points at home.

"They've had some problems in the last couple of weeks," he said.

"I think every game is important and I don't know if it is dangerous. We playing a home game, we're doing well at the moment, we're playing good football.

"Of course it's important that we know how they're going to play and you have to also be careful and respect the way you opponent plays.

"But it is important we play our own game our own way, especially because we're at home."
