Lee Dong-gook scored four times as Jeonbuk Motors cruised into the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League with a 6-1 demolition of Cerezo Osaka at Jeonju World Cup Stadium.
Trailing 4-3 from the first leg in Osaka, Jeonbuk squared the quarter-final tie after half an hour when Eninho latched onto Luiz Henrique's through ball and drilled a low finish beyond keeper Kim Jin-hyeon.
Lee grabbed his first two minutes into the second period with a near post header from a corner before extending the hosts' advantage in the 54th minute when his 25-yard strike squirmed under Kim Jin-hyeon's body.
The forward then completed his treble when his deflected volley from Seo Jung-jin's cross flew through the Cerezo keeper's legs.
Rui Komatsu pulled a goal back for Cerezo in the 72nd minute with a clinical finish from Fabio Lopes' defence-splitting pass but four minutes later Kim Dong-chan was in the right place to head home Jeonbuk's fifth into an empty net after Eninho had nicked the ball past Kim Jin-hyeon.
Lee then claimed his fourth and the Koreans' sixth goal in stoppage time when he took advantage of a poor clearance to steer the ball into the back of the net and complete a 9-5 aggregate triumph.
They will now face Al Ittihad in the last four after the Saudi Arabians lost 1-0 at FC Seoul but go through 3-2 on aggregate.
The two-goal cushion Al Ittihad established in the first game in Jeddah proved crucial as Mauricio Molina curled home from the edge of the box with six minutes to go at Seoul World Cup Stadium but the Koreans could not conjure the second they needed to progress at their opponents' expense.
