While United want to end the domestic campaign as champions, the Premier's Plate offers a guarantee into the ACL for 2010.

Pantelis says everyone at the club wants the adventure on a regular basis, such has been the enjoyment so far.

He told au.fourfourtwo.com: "Champions League football has been something we've relished and we definitely want more.

"The players want more, the club itself wants more. We want Asia to be part of our lives."

But Pantelis says there is no question of taking top spot for granted with the A-League season still having two rounds left to play.

He said: "The job is far from done. A lot can happen in the football that's left to be played.

"We have to go to Wellington and Central Coast and we know they both still have something to play for."

Pantelis is just thrilled to be playing his part in such an exciting end to the season and has expressed his gratitude to those who have made it possible.

After fighting his way back from a knee injury that had threatened to end his campaign, he said: "Obviously you have to work hard yourself but I'm very grateful to all the medical staff who have helped me get myself in a position to get out there (on the pitch) again.

"They put in a fantastic effort."
