The 35-year-old, who plays for AEP Paphos in Cyprus, predicts George Burley's side will fail again when they meet at Hampden on Saturday.

Scotland need to beat Macedonia and Holland in their final two qualifiers if they are to have any chance of qualifying for South Africa.

Nikolovski, however, revealed the Macedonian squad have already viewed videos of Scotland's 4-0 defeat in Norway last month and are now even more confident that they could produce another shock win at Hampden to end the hosts' 2010 dream.

"We've been studying the latest game they played in Oslo and it's clear they've not improved," he told the Scottish Daily Express.

"In fact, I think they're worse than when we won 1-0 in Skopje.

"I noticed that their general performance has gone down all over the pitch and I think they're looking like a very nervous team as they fear they can't now qualify for the play-offs.

"We are travelling with a lot of confidence and a single objective - victory.

"We are convinced that if we win this one, we will finish in second place in the group.

"People thought before the first time we faced each other that Scotland were superior, but we proved they're not and, while we've improved since then, they are no better.

"All the pressure is on them and if we score the first goal, as we did in Macedonia, it could become hell for them."
