ROBINHO has been left out of the Real Madrid squad for Sunday's Primera Liga opener against Deportivo La Coruna.
The decision to omit the Brazil international comes amid continued speculation about the wantaway winger's future, with Robinho on Friday insisting negotiations with Chelsea were ongoing.
Robinho declared over a week ago that he wanted to leave Madrid and join Chelsea, but Madrid coach Bernd Schuster still included the 24-year-old in his squad for last Sunday's Supercopa second leg against Valencia, although did not play him.
Madrid insist they do not want Robinho to leave but have said they will not keep a player at the Bernabeu against their will.

Schuster confirmed in Saturday's pre-match press conference: "I would like that this matter was closed, but it's not. He will not travel to La Coruna."
The German continued: "It's my decision. The club have never given an opinion, they have always left me to take the decision.
"For me he's an important player. You need to know what condition the player will arrive in and the pressure of his situation has been strong. The player is not in the optimum condition.
"He has a lot of concerns going on in his head. Until the matter is resolved definitely he will not be in perfect condition to play."
Schuster was not ready to discard the Brazilian completely, though, and when asked if Robinho might score Madrid's 5,000th goal in the league (currently on 4,998), the coach said: "It's possible."
