INTER Milan wing-back Maicon has again hinted his future could lie away from the San Siro if the club do not show signs of challenging for the Champions League.
Maicon, currently on Confederations Cup duty with Brazil in South Africa, has won the Serie A title in each of his three seasons so far with the Nerazzurri.
But domestic success does not seem to be enough for the 27-year-old, who craves European glory as well.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: "My dream and that of my team is to win the Champions League. We want to do that with Inter but, if I cannot achieve it in Milan, I will try elsewhere.
"Real (Madrid)? It is a great team and to play in a great team is the desire of all players.
"I have a contract with Inter until 2013. After that, nobody knows what my future holds."
