The 28-year-old attacking midfielder, who previously played in Asia in a six-month spell at J.League side Kashima Antlers, joins from Atletico Paranaense on an 18-month deal.
"I'm pleased to join Al Ahli as they are a big club and they have a big fan base," said Marcinho. "I hope that I can prove to be successful for the team."
The club also announced they have agreed terms with Botafogo striker Victor Simoes.
The 28-year-old had previous spells with K-League side Chunnam Dragons and Belgian giants Club Brugge.
