WET weather has forced the postponement of this afternoon's National Youth League clash between the top-of-the-table Central Coast Mariners and their local rivals Newcastle Jets.
The decision has been made in consultation with senior Mariners' officials, groundstaff at Bluetongue Stadium, Match Officials and Football Federation Australia, and based on the playability of the pitch, and its resultant condition for tonight's Hyundai A-League clash.
Gates will still open at Bluetongue Stadium at 3pm, with kick-off in the A-League F3 Derby between the Mariners and Jets still scheduled for 6pm.
A date for the rescheduling of the National Youth League clash will be advised in due course.
