Kashima Antlers forward Marquinhos has been named the J.League Player of the Year at an awards ceremony in Tokyo.
The Brazilian netted 21 goals in 30 appearances to finish as the league's top scorer and help his club retain the J.League title.
He became only the fourth player in the competition's 15-year history to collect both trophies.
"I'm really happy to receive this honourable prize," said Marquinhos.
"I managed to get it in my eighth season in the J.League. I'm thankful to God, my family and my team-mates."
The 32-year-old made his J.League debut in August 2001 with Tokyo Verdy and went on to play for Yokohama F. Marinos, JEF United Ichihara and Shimizu S-Pulse before joining Kashima last year.
"I'll put in even more effort to return to this stage next year," added Marquinhos, who became the eighth foreign player to receive the Player of the Year award.
Team-mates and defenders Atsuto Uchida and Daiki Iwamasa joined the Brazilian in the Team of the Year, while Antlers boss Oswaldo Oliveira picked up the Manager of the Year prize after leading his team to their sixth league crown and 12th overall.
"The feelings I'm experiencing now are not easy to earn. I'd like to thank the Kashima family for bringing me this nice feeling and I would like them to think that this prize is for them also," said the Brazilian coach.
Asian Champions League winners Gamba Osaka, who finished third in the FIFA Club World Cup, had two players named in the Team of the Year - midfielder Yasuhito Endo and defender Satoshi Yamaguchi.
Nagoya Grampus Eight goalkeeper Seigo Narazaki and midfielder Yoshizumi Ogawa, Urawa Reds defender Marcus Tulio Tanaka, Yokohama F. Marinos defender Yuji Nakazawa, Kawasaki Frontale midfielder Kengo Nakamura and Kyoto Sanga forward Atsushi Yanagisawa made up the rest of the J.League's best XI.
Yanagisawa scored 14 goals in 32 appearances to finish third in the scoring charts alongside Kawasaki's North Korea international Jong Tae-se and behind Marquinhos and Consadole Sapporo's Brazilian forward Davi (16).
Ogawa, meanwhile, beat FC Tokyo full-back Yuto Nagatomo and Shimizu S-Pulse forward Kazuki Hara to the Rookie of the Year title.
