WELLINGTON Phoenix goalkeeper Griffin McMaster has announced on Twitter that he is leaving the struggling A-League club.
The former Brisbane Roar shot stopper had two injury replacement stints with the Kiwi club but was unable to break into the first team.
Most recently, McMaster joined Phoenix in November last year as cover for injured New Zealand international, Glenn Moss.
The 29-year-old Queenslader tweeted his team-mates: βIt's been a pleasure. Best of luck lads.β And added: βI've thoroughly enjoy (sic) my time here.β
