Langerak has already been touted as a future Socceroo keeper by Mark Schwarzer and his performance for Melbourne in their Asian Champions League win in midweek drew plaudits by the bucketful.

Muscat, who scored the only goal of the game, is delighted to see Langerak making such strides but knows Victory are not the only ones to be impressed.

"It's going to be tough for the football club because I'm sure other people are noticing his stocks as well," he told the Herald Sun.

"Not only is he a good keeper, he's a good kid and willing to learn and he's got a very big future."

Langerak is secured on a Victory contract for another two seasons.
