CRAIG Moore will be a Queensland Roar player for at least another year but is choosing to take a short-term view rather than pen an extended deal.
The Socceroos defender has agreed terms for next season although the club are thought to be keen to convince him to pen a two-year deal.
Moore is happy to get next year sorted first and foremost and then address whether to commit himself again at that stage.
He still believes he can perform for another two to three years though.
It has been a turbulent few months for the defender having successfully battled a cancer scare and returned to the international fold.
He told the Courier Mail: "I'll take it a year at a time, the way things have gone this season. I definitely feel I can play next season and then I imagine I'll go through the same process again to see whether I can go again the following year."
