He told au.fourfourtwo.com: "I remember saying to the lads last year when we got knocked out of the finals by Newcastle that they should remember what this feels like and it's not a feeling you want to repeat time and time again in your career.
"We have a chance to have another crack at it and we'llĀ give it our very best."
Whether they win the grand final or not, Moore believes it has been a season of progression for the club.
He said: "The improvement from last season to this season has been evident. That's important when you're looking to move forward. I definitely feel we're moving in the right direction.
"I think we've more experience now. There's a lot of players who've gained (experience) this year. I think there's been games at home that we would have drawn last year but this year we've gone on to nick late winners.
"I think there's been no panic, we've been patient and plodded on trying to break teams down. We've definitely done that in the back end of the season.
"Teams playing us know they're up against a team willing to run extremely hard with great energy and enthusiasm."
As well as football battles this year, Moore also had to beat testicular cancer. He said: "The cancer was a huge scare but I don't think it's changed me in any wayu other than I know it's something I have to monitor for the rest of my life. "
Moore just wants to end the year with his hands on a trophy. He said: "It would be huge, as big as any (achievement).
"To lead a team and to win trophies is always special, no matter what stage of your career it happens."
