CRAIG Moore returned to training with Queensland Roar this morning, just one week after undergoing surgery for testicular cancer.
The 32-year-old Australia international received the diagnosis less than two weeks ago but remained optimistic of a quick recovery.
However, despite the speed of his return to the training field, the former Rangers and Newcastle defender ruled out a return against Perth Glory in the A-League this weekend.
"I'm not going to rush into anything and be silly," he said.
"When I feel physically ready to go that'll be the time I'll get out there and start playing.
"That definitely won't be this weekend; it may be the following weekend.
"People deal with things in different ways and for me, I'm happiest when I'm on the football field."
