Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has praised the work done by new coach Leonardo since his appointment to the San Siro hotseat.
Leonardo replaced Rafael Benitez at the helm of the Nerazzurri after the winter break and has led Inter to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia while also keeping them in the battle for the Scudetto.
"Leonardo's impact has been very good," said Moratti on the club's official website, www.inter.it. "He has done very well so far. But we must continue to do well.
"Leonardo is a very intelligent man and his job is a difficult one, continuity is needed and he knows that."
The Nerazzurri go into Saturday's game against Bologna on the back of three consecutive wins, including Wednesday's 3-2 triumph over Genoa in the cup.
Victories against Napoli and Catania have lifted Inter to seventh in Serie A, 11 points behind league leaders AC Milan, but the Nerazzurri have two games in hand.
Milan, meanwhile, travel to relegation-threatened Lecce 24 hours later looking to return to winning ways after being held to a 4-4 draw by Udinese last time out.
A slip by Milan could see second-placed Napoli reduce their four-point lead at the summit.
