DINAMO Moscow are set to swoop for Socceroo and FC Twente fullback Luke Wilkshire.
Wilkshire has caught the eye of the Russian outfit and although under contract with his Eredivisie side until 2011, Wilkshire has a fixed maximum transfer fee clause.
According to reports in Europe, Dinamo are only too happy to meet that fee and snap up the 'Roo as soon as possible.
Wilkshire was recently re-united with his first boss in Europe, Steve McClaren, when the Englishman took over at Twente over the off-season.
McClaren was the manager who released Wilkshire from Middlesbrough after joining them in 2001. He went on to play for Bristol City before joining Twente in 2006.
He's been a first team regular for the side since joining the Dutchmen - playing 59 league games for them - which has helped cement his regular starting spot with the Socceroos as well.
Wilkshire is currently in the UK with the Socceroo squad as part of the side to face South Africa overnight.
If he leaves he will be part of an exodus of stars out of Twente since McClaren took over.
Orlando Engelaar and Karim el Ahmadi have already left and Robbie Wielaert, Douglas and striker Marko Arnautovic are all tipped to quit for rival clubs.
