David Moyes has called on Marouane Fellaini to fire Everton to Merseyside derby glory at Anfield on Sunday.
The Belgium international midfielder has been one of Everton's stand-out players this season and his 11 league goals have helped lift the Goodison Park outfit into contention for European qualification for 2013-14.
Some of Fellaini's most impressive showings throughout the campaign have come against the sides battling at the top end of the Premier League, as the 25-year-old scored the winner against Manchester United on the opening day of the season and away at Manchester City.
And Moyes is hopeful the midfielder can continue this sequence against Liverpool and help keep Everton in the chase for either UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League qualification.
"He's been better in all the big games … let's hope he does it again," Moyes said. "He has been playing well at this moment in time and more of the same would go down nicely."
Everton go into the crucial clash five points clear of Liverpool with just three games remaining, meaning a victory would ensure they finish above their rivals from across Stanley Park for the second successive season.
However, history is on the home team's side, as Everton have not won at Anfield since September 1999.
