It's 'standard-Spurs', but it works!
Nike have gone back to basics for the 2019/20 Tottenham Hotspur kits, producing a ‘simple, but effective’ effort for the home strip whilst opting for a marginally more daring away variation.
The predominantly white home shirt adopts a pretty ‘standard-Spurs’ look, with the collar and sleeve cuffs also appearing in a complementary navy-blue colour.

Fans seem to be pretty happy with the more traditional approach, having berated last year’s gradient effort which looked particularly shocking when paired with white shorts for Champions League fixtures.
Spurs’ new away kit is mostly navy, but features an interesting purple graphic across the chest which we’ve committed to dubbing the ‘police tape’ pattern. Initially appearing as a series of repeating slanted rectangles, closer inspection reveals that actually, each of the shapes are comprised of the word ‘Spurs’. Very subtle, indeed.
Both jerseys are complemented by navy shorts, whilst white and navy socks finish off the home and away kits respectively.
Weighing in on the new designs, Tottenham’s talisman number 9, Harry Kane, had this to say:
“It’s a special time at the club right now. The team has been making great progress, and with the move to the new stadium it feels like we have real momentum behind us.”

"The kit looks great, it has a classic feel to it, it’s 100 per cent Spurs and I can’t wait to wear it.”
Spurs will debut the kits in their upcoming International Champions Cup fixtures in Kallang (Singapore), Shanghai (China) and the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London over the coming weeks.
