Former Melbourne City striker David Williams feels like he has found his feet at Hungarian club Szombathelyi Haladas.
Williams left City after 101 appearances and 21 goals and joined Haladas, who are based in Szombathely, in January last year.
He now has 13 goals from 39 games in Hungary's Nemzeti Bajnoksag I as his team finished sixth in their league.
“I’m very comfortable there and the weight on my shoulders is off when I left Melbourne,” Williams told FourFourTwo at a Nike event in Melbourne.
“I feel good playing every match so I feel important to the team which feels good.
"It’s quite casual, so it gives me a good mindset mentality to play the game.
“The league isn’t too bad, some good matches here and there but it can definitely improve in our team and the league.”

After leaving the A-League, Williams said he wasn’t buying into the idea that he stagnated upon his departure.
The 29-year-old still keeps up to date with the A-League, watching highlights on YouTube, mainly games involving former teammates.
“It wasn’t like it was ‘here’s the door, away you go’. I got an opportunity elsewhere, I needed to take it and I’m glad I did,” he said.
“It was just business with them. That’s how I feel with that club, it’s just what happens in football sometimes and I was told I can stay and fight for a position.
“I have no plans of leaving, I have my house set up. I'm just here enjoying Australia and having a break.”
