Fury played the bulk of their derby against Brisbane Roar at the weekend with 10 men following the first half dismissal of Paul Kohler.

They looked on course to record a first A-League win until a deflected effort rescued Roar in the last few minutes.

Ferguson was disappointed with the decision to show Kohler a second yellow card in the game but said the decision had been made and you had to get on with it.

"I think a little bit of common sense, go and have a chat with him and say 'you do one more Paul (and you'll be off). But he has a decision to make and he's made the decision," said Ferguson.

"At the end of the day it's done, my man's off the park and we just have to get on with it. I think the boys adapted well. We got behind them two or three times in the second half which was pleasing."

Ferguson hailed the effort from his players once again and felt there were positives to take in to the next challenge against Sydney FC.

He added: "I'm more gutted for these boys. Again, what a performance they put in. Determination and grit. They worked their socks off for 90 minutes. It's disappointing for them to score so late on with a deflected goal again.

"You just seem to think the world's against you every time but again, some positive stuff, some great stuff to take on."
