EXCLUSIVE: Melbourne Victory defender Roddy Vargas insists Adelaide United are the only team under pressure in the race to lift the Premier's Plate.

Last night's goalless draw between United and Queensland Roar leaves Victory two-points adrift with two games to play.
Melbourne entertain Central Coast Mariners this weekend and then finish their campaign with another home clash against Wellington Phoenix.
Adelaide go to Wellington on Sunday before rounding things off with a trip to the Mariners.
Vargas told au.fourfourtwo.com today: "It could be that sitting second at the moment is a blessing in disguise.
"To some extent it's out of our hands and we can only concentrate on ourselves. We have to try and take maximum points and then see where it leaves us.
"Maybe sometimes it's easier that way than having the pressure of knowing that other teams are chasing you."
When asked if top spot was Adelaide's to lose, Vargas didn't disagree. "I suppose so.
He added: "As I said, all we can do is concentrate on our jobs and the first job is to try and get three points against Central Coast this weekend."
The visitors have former Victory player Adrian Caceres in their squad but Vargas says friendship goes out of the window for 90 minutes.
"I'm sure Adrian and I will have a chat but that's all put aside until after the match," he said.
"The Mariners never give you an easy game, they never give up and they battle for everything. They're fighting for finals football as well."
If Victory are to notch up three points then Vargas and his defensive colleagues will need to try and stop Matt Simon.
The striker has already netted 11 times this season and is just one behind Shane Smeltz in the race for the Golden Boot.
Vargas said: "He's done well this year. He's an awkward player to come up against because he's tall and quick. He's a hard one to mark.
"They've also got the likes of Dylan Macallister and Nik Mrdja in there as well."
Vargas accepts that playing at Telstra Dome also brings expectation from supporters but he isn't worried about that.
He said: "We've enjoyed playing at home and the fans have been fantastic. They've backed us and never turned on us."
