BASEMENT boys North Queensland Fury are remaining positive despite three straight losses - but the club unwilling to blame officials for their latest setback.
Fury were beaten 1-0 by Melbourne Victory at the weekend, a game which saw the A-League new boys denied a couple of shouts for a penalty.
However, the Townsville outfit are adopting a stiff upper lip and see little point in trying to point the finger at officials.
''These are decisions the referees make, at the end of the day, it is a tough job for them - sometimes they're given, sometimes they're not given,'' coach Ian Ferguson told the Townsville Bulletin.
"It's disappointing - but he's got a decision to make, he's on the park and sees something different to what we see.
"We can't sit here and whinge about it, there's no use moaning because we never got it, we've just got to get on with the game."
While other coaches and players endured a turbulent weekend at the card-laden hands of officials, Ferguson was willing to praise the performance of ref Peter Green, who handed out just two yellows compared to ten his first game this season.
Ferguson added: I thought he had a good game.''
Striker Daniel McBreen took a similar line and said it was 'easier to cry' when you lose.
