Melbourne Victory Youth 0
Stadium: Pluim Park, Lisarow
Central Coast Mariners Youth secured the biggest win of the round and remain at the helm of the National Youth League table after a convincing 6-0 win over Melbourne Victory Youth on Friday afternoon.
They were on the score-sheet just 15 minutes into the contest when Appiah-Kubi unleashed Brad McDonald with the 21-year-old finishing neatly from inside the box.
Nine minutes later the Mariners doubled their lead when Justin Hayward netted the first of his three goals from the penalty spot following a handball in the box by a Victory defender.
Shortly after that attacking midfielder Adrian Pellegrino got himself a goal thanks to some great work by McDonald.
Just three minutes later and Hayward scored second, also from the spot. He wrapped up his hat trick on 41 minutes, netting past Dowisha after a great team move. The scores at half-time: Mariners 5 Victory 0.
They added just one to that score-line in the second period when Appiah-Kubi, who set up the first goal, got himself the last one with five minutes left on the clock.

Brisbane Roar Youth 3 (Lambadardis 10', Fitzgerald 17', 30')
AIS Youth 2 (Prior 12', 45' p)
Stadium: Cleveland Showgrounds
Ten-man Brisbane Roar were too strong for a 10-man AIS side, coming out 3-2 winners on Saturday afternoon to remain second on the table.
In the first-half, where all five of the games goals were scored, midfielder George Lambadardis had the hosts up 1-0 on 10 minutes thanks to a low and hard shot into the corner of the goal.
But the lead lasted two minutes when Anthony Prior netted his own rebound after his firm strike cannoned off the crossbar and back into play.
Although it took just five minutes for Roar to regain their lead when Nicholas Fitzgerald was too quick and skillful for the AIS defence.
A third Roar goal came on the half-hour mark with Fitzgerald again showing his skills, before firing in a shot into the bottom corner.
The AIS did pull one back on the stroke of half-time when Prior was one-on-one with the goalkeeper before being brought down by Matt Mundy, earning himself a red-card and conceding a penalty in the process.
Prior stood up to convert the penalty but even with their one man advantage for the majority of the second-half, Roar held on for the three points.

Perth Glory Youth 2 (Caniglia 76', Hudson 90')
Sydney FC Youth 5 (Mallia 29', 42', 85', Chianese 39', Petratos 51')
Stadium: 6PR Stadium
Goalfests seemed to be the theme of the round as a hat trick from Mitchell Mallia helped Sydney FC to a 5-2 win over Perth Glory.
Surprisingly, the game was scoreless until the 29th minute when Mallia opened up his account for the afternoon as a poor backpass gifted him a goal.
Joel Chianese capitalised on another poor defensive mistake to head the ball home from just a few metres out.
It got worse for Glory only three minutes later when Mallia made a great run down the right before cutting inside and unleashing a stunning strike past the Glory goalkeeper.
Dimitri Petratos made it 4-0 early in the second-half but Glory pulled one back on 76 minutes through Alex Caniglia before Mallia rounded off his hat trick with five minutes remaining.
But the scoring didn't stop there as Byron Hudson netted a mere consolation goal for Glory in stoppage time.

Newcastle Jets Youth 1 (Haliti 23')
Stadium: John Cain Memorial Park
Melbourne Heart Youth made it three wins from four games and ended Newcastle Jets Youth unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 win on Sunday afternoon.
Heart got off to the perfect start when Rutger Worm got on the end of a Kristian Sarkies free-kick just two minutes into the game.
But after dominating most of the early period, Heart let their guard down and Labinot Haliti capitalised to level the scores twenty minutes later.
The two sides went into the break level but shortly after the hour mark substitute Josh Groenwald restored Heart's advantage with a header from this time a Sarkies corner.
Just ten minutes later and it was 3-1 to Heart with another substitute, Zac Walker, neatly finished past the Jets goalkeeper after Billy Liolios played him through.

Gold Coast United 4 (Severino 4', Bevan 14', Barker-Daish 57', Yeboah 89')
Adelaide United 1 (Wooding 84')
Stadium: Owen Park
Gold Coast United Youth have secured their maiden victory of the 2011/12 NYL season with a comfortable 4-1 defeat of Adelaide United Youth on Sunday.
The defending champions lost all three of their opening games but will be relieved to have finally got off the mark and move up a spot to 8th in the process.
It took just four minutes for Daniel Severino to open the scoring at Owen Park with a comical goal when his long-range effort came off the crossbar and flew into the air, before landing with the backspin taking the ball over the line, all whilst the Adelaide goalkeeper scrambled to get to his feet.
Mitch Bevan provided a clinical finish from inside the box to double Gold Coast's lead ten minutes later.
It took until the 57th minute for Gold Coast to add another with Jake Barker-Daish gifted an easy tap-in when the Adelaide goalkeeper could only parry Chris Harold's strike.
Adelaide United pulled one back with six minutes left thanks to Liam Wooding with a stunning goal from distance but Kwame Yeboah had the final say as he made it 4-1 right at the death.
