The Spanish capital club parted company with Mourinho by mutual consent last month following a disappointing campaign in which they finished 15 points behind Barcelona and were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League at the semi-final stage by German side Borussia Dortmund.

Real have been linked with moves for outgoing Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes and Paris Saint-Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti.
However, Perez revealed the club are yet to contact any potential candidates, stressing they will not be rushed into appointing a successor.
"In the coming days, we will look at the coaching staff and decide what we want for next season," he told Spanish television programme Los desayunos de TVE.

"We will not rush, because the important thing is not to do it tomorrow but to do it well.

"Ancelotti is an option, but no one has spoken to him, no one has offered anything. When we have thought about what is best, what we need, we will make the appropriate movement."
Former Chelsea manager Ancelotti has made no secret of his desire to leave PSG despite guiding them to the Ligue 1 title and a UEFA Champions League quarter-final.

However Perez, who was re-elected as Real president on Monday, knows the ball is firmly in the French club's court.
He told radio station Onda Cero: "Ancelotti is a great person, he was a great player, now a coach - one capable of winning big leagues - and can manage high-level players.

"(At the moment) he is at PSG (so) today it is not an option.

"PSG must do what they think is best. If the possibility of Ancelotti exists, we will analyse it."
