Perth Glory new boy Mate Dragicevic bagged a brace as his club completed its Malaysian pre-season tour with a 4-0 thumping of Police FA on Saturday night.

Victory ensured that Ron Smith’s men arrived home unbeaten from their trip with Dragicevic demonstrating just why he was so hotly pursued by Glory during the off-season.
The forward was joined on the scoresheet by strike partner Nikita Rukavytsya, making it five goals in three games for the player.
Coach Smith is delighted with both the results and the manner in which his side is going about its business as Glory prepare for the big kick off next month.
He said: “We have set about playing an attractive and exciting style of football and I’m delighted that we have been able to score well in each of our matches on the tour.
“Our goals have come about through a good understanding between the lads and that will only get better with the more matches we play.
“It has been a whole team effort with the defence combining well and setting up many of our attacking moves.”
Glory headed for home on Sunday night but if the players had any thoughts of putting their feet up, then they can forget it.
Smith’s men take on Perth SC on Tuesday night in a friendly clash at Dorrien Gardens, kick-off at 7.00pm.
Glory will go into the match with Saturday’s triumph still fresh in the memory though.
After a scoreless first half against Police FA the Glory did all their damage in a wonderful spell after the restart where they punished their hosts with four well-taken goals.
The first goal came in the 52nd minute after a nice build-up involving Jamie Coyne and Anthony Danze who picked out Dragicevic in the box and he blasted it past the keeper.
Two minutes later Danze and Dragicevic combined again as the West Australian midfielder skilfully chipped over the defence to find the big striker who headed it into the top corner for his second.
The onslaught continued when Rukavytsya danced around a couple of defenders on the stroke of 60 minutes to fire home a wonderful shot from a tight angle.
The match was done and dusted when Naum Sekulovski made it four for the Glory with an easy tap in after Dragicevic unselfishly dished off a pass instead of blazing away in an attempt to secure his hat-trick.
After Tuesday’s friendly, Glory face Floreat Athena (July 10) and Inglewood
United (July 17) respectively.
