Now that his commitments in the UK are finished with Hartlepool, Joel Porter will finally confirm the signing of a three year deal with the Wellington Phoenix.

This will draw to a close one of the longest off season sagas this winter and see the Phoenix complete a very successful attacking recruitment with Leo Bertos, Leilei Gao and Porter joining the threatening Shane Smeltz, Daniel and Vaghan Coveny with support from exciting youngsters Greg Draper and Costa Barbarouses.

The Phoenix are stioll on the look out for defensive reinforcement.
