ADELAIDE United boss Aurelio Vidmar was happy to preserve the club's unbeaten A-League record against Wellington Phoenix and saw positive signs in the 1-1 draw.
Reflecting on Friday night's draw at Westpac Stadium, Vidmar said it was a much improved performance on The Reds' last outing.
"We were happy with the point. I think it was a really positive performance, especially in that second half," Vidmar said.
"In the first half we didn't string too many passes together, we gave it away quite cheaply and then that facet was much better in the second half.
"I think we dominated for the majority of that second half, except for probably the last five minutes when they started getting a bit of momentum.
"(But) all in all, I think there are some positive signs moving forward."
Adelaide's next challenge is a home clash with Central Coast Mariners next Friday.
