SATURDAY, Jan 4

Sydney FC v Adelaide United at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, 7.30pm
Head to head: Sky Blues 19, Reds 17, drawn 8
Last clash: Round 1, 2019-20, Sydney 3-2 at Coopers Stadium
The Sky Blues are clearly the best team in the league right now, while the Reds are suffering their way through a mini-form slump with back-to-back losses. Sydney FC are high on confidence after a stirring win over Melbourne City and will look to inflict further punishment on Adelaide - who they are unbeaten against in 10 A-League matches stretching back to April 2016.
Key: If the Reds are to find a break through, they need James Troisi, who has had mixed form but whose quality is undoubted, to be at his creative best. Troisi is a big-game player and this is an important road trip for Gertjan Verbeek's side.
