ADELAIDE United have recalled departing trio Ang Costanzo, Diego and Jonas Salley to their squad ahead of tomorrow's preliminary final against Queensland Roar.
All three will exit Hindmarsh Stadium at the end of the finals series and coach Aurelio Vidmar's post-match outburst last weekend has sparked speculation surrounding the trio's lack of game time recently.
But all three find themselves back in the frame for the Roar clash although four players will be culled from the party named.
Assistant coach Phil Stubbins told AAP: "Diego's proved to be a fantastic player and certainly someone who has the ability to open up opposition defences.
"He had a terrific ACL campaign with us prior to his injury, we know what he's capable of and he's certainly at the top end of the performers in the A-League so if we can get him on the paddock it would be a great avenue for us to goal."
Stubbins also suggested Vidmar's controversial comments might be in part due to fatigue.
He added: "We've worked extremely hard to put things in place, and Saturday night was maybe a bit of stress coming out from Viddy there."
