ADELAIDE United midfielder Paul Reid will re-join training with the Reds main group on Monday and will be available for selection next weekend after a meeting with coach Rini Coolen.
Reid, who made himself unavailable for Friday's 1-0 win over Wellington after a contract dispute following a proposed move to Sydney FC, met with Coolen to resolve the issue.
"I had a short chat with him after the game, that was a good, short chat," Coolen told the Adelaide Advertiser.
"He asked me if he could join the team, train with the players that didn't do much yesterday (Friday) and, of course, I was happy with that. So he's training now."
Reid trained with fringe Adelaide players on Saturday and will re-join the main group on Monday ahead of their upcoming final against either Gold Coast United or Melbourne Victory.
Adelaide skipper Travis Dodd added: "He is an important part of the team and I guess, as a playing group, we'd like him to stay and see the season out.
"Reidy wanted to come to training today (on Saturday), which was good, and the playing group are more than happy to have him back."
