HAMILTON manager Billy Reid was the surprise winner of the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year award at Sunday's awards dinner in Glasgow.
He took the award ahead of Rangers boss Walter Smith, and Dundee United's Craig Levein, after steering Hamilton to the Irn-Bru First Division title.
Reid saw his side clinch promotion with yesterday's 2-0 victory over his former club Clyde.
