Aaron Mooy (suspended), Tom Rogic and Massimo Luongo (both injury) missed Australia’s last game, the 2-0 win over UAE in March at Allianz Stadium but all three are available again.

Jackson Irvine impressed in their absence with a strong display against both Iraq and UAE plus a goal against the latter, creating a major dilemma.

Luongo played the first game in March against Iraq but injury kept him out of the UAE game, with Postecoglou re-shuffling his line-up, moving Mark Milligan from defence to midfield.

The Socceroos boss has a number of scenarios which could accommodate the returning players but he’s kept his cards close to his chest for now.

“I know I have to be on the top of my game in training,” Luongo said.

“I was injured the last game, (Mooy) was suspended and Tommy Rogic was injured, and Jackson Irvine came in and scored and looked incredible.

“We've loads of depth.”

Luongo hinted the Socceroos would look to play an aggressive brand against the Green Falcons in Adelaide, noting the importance of an early goal.

“If we get a goal, or when we get a goal, it’s just going to unlock them and they’ll need to come out and try to play and get another goal,” the QPR midfielder said.

“That’ll benefit us even more and we’ve practised against teams sitting off and trying to disrupt us and we’ve done pretty well so far.

“I wouldn’t say it’s a game plan. We’ll just go out and try unlock them as we normally do.

A goal early would ruin their game plan and they’d be forced to come out and try score.”
