TOMAS Rogic has received a three-match suspension following his 95th minute red card in Thursday's shock 1-0 loss to Sydney FC.
The independent Match Review Panel (MRP) – consisting of Simon Micallef (Chair), Alan Contini and Alan Davidson – convened to consider the Hyundai A-League round 13 incident on Saturday afternoon.
Having been advised of the additional two match sanction to go with Rogic’s automatic one game ban for receiving a red card against the Sky Blues, Central Coast have decided not to appeal the decision.
Rogic is disappointed by the additional two-match penalty however he and the Mariners have accepted the decision of the MRP. Rogic has expressed remorse for his actions.
The promising Socceroo will next be available for selection when Central Coast Mariners host Newcastle Jets at Bluetongue Stadium in round 17 on January 19.
