NIKITA Rukavytsya enjoyed his first matchday victory as part of FC Twente's senior squad as Steve McLaren's side saw off FC Volendam 2-1.
After a run-out for the second string in midweek the Australian found himself promoted to the first team bench for the Eredivisie clash.
Sadly, he was left on the bench as Twente reduced the lead of AZ Alkmaar at the top of the table to nine points..
The visitors went in front with just six minutes on the clock when Paul de Lange scored from the spot.
But the dismissal of Gerry Koning after 19 minutes signalled the beginning of the end for Volendam, and Marko Arnautovic levelled matters for Twente after 28 minutes before Blaise Nkufo added a penalty six minutes later.
