FRANCE international Willy Sagnol has hit out at the decision to hold the Coupe de France final so late in May.
Sagnol is currently back in his homeland with Raymond Domenech's provisional 30-man squad for Euro 2008, where he has been shocked by the number of players absent due to their participation in last Saturday's final between Lyon and Paris St Germain.
The Bayern Munich right-back joked that the poor organisation would only play into the hands of their group-stage rivals - Italy, Holland and Romania.
"We could have avoided this big difference in numbers (of players) if the final of the Coupe de France hadn't been played on May 24," he complained to French newspaper L'Equipe.
"There must be plenty of Italy fans among those who make all the decisions in French football!"
Sagnol also cast further doubt over his future in Germany by suggesting he could move after this summer's tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
Last week Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge claimed the Frenchman would see out the remainder of his contract at the club - a deal that runs until 2010.
But Sagnol refused to commit his future to the German champions.
"Today, I'm staying at Bayern Munich, but if after the European Championship a club wants me and Bayern don't then maybe something will happen," he said.
"In football, everything works like this."
