Al Shabab - who pulled out an impressive 2-0 victory against UAE's Al Ain in their opening match in the AFC Champions League last Wednesday - finished the first half with a goal down as Al Hazm Brazilian striker Gilson who opened the scoring in the 28th minute.

However, Al Shabab levelled the scores in the 53rd minute through Waleed Al Gizani, who also scored against Al Ain.

Iraq international midfielder Nashat Akram then put them ahead just four minutes later and defender Abdoh Autef sealed the win in the first minute of stoppage time when he made it 3-1 to Al Shabab.
