Saudi Arabia came from behind to post an emphatic 4-1 win over Lebanon in their World Cup qualifier at King Fahad International Stadium on Monday.
Mahmoud El Ali gave the visitors the lead after 42 minutes, but goals from Yasser Al Qahtani (two), Osama Hawsawi and Redha Tukar turned the match around.
The result marks Saudi Arabia's second win in qualifying Group Four.
The hosts wasted several chances in the opening half with Al Qahtani and Malek Maaz both coming close.
And the misses came back to haunt them shortly before the interval when El Ali picked up a cross from Mohamad Ghaddar before backheeling into the net.
The Saudis were level just two minutes later though with Zaid Al Mowallad providing the cross for captain Al Qahtani to tap home from close range.
Al Qahtani then hit the side netting early in the second half, but a second goal followed after 62 minutes when Hawsawi poked in a Mohammed Al Shalhoub corner.
The hosts were in the ascendancy now and made it 3-1 seven minutes from time, Tukar rose highest to meet Abdullah Shuhail's cross from the left.
And the win was sealed in the dying seconds by Al Qahtani, who capped off an impressive display with a goal on the rebound after Lebanon goalkeeper Lary Mehanna had blocked an initial shot from Shuhail.
